Sniff:

Moomin:

Sniff:

Moomin:

I know. I'll hide in the hat!

Sniff:

…Ten… -A-ha, got you! -Snorkmaiden!

Snufkin:

Moomin must be around here somewhere.

Little My:

Well, last time I saw him, he was hiding in the fireplace.

Snorkmaiden:

Have you found him yet?

Sniff:

Little My:

Have you looked in the cellar?

Sniff:

Yes, I have.

Snufkin:

Wait a minute. Did you hear someone laughing?

Sniff:

Where did it come from?

Snorkmaiden:

Gee, I'd better go home.

Moominpappa:

Is there anything wrong?

Sniff:

Yes, I can't find Moomin anywhere!

Little My:

Well, he's too fat to be most places. -It's coming from under the hat.

Moomin:

Well, here I am Sniff.

Sniff:

Who on earth are you?

Moomin:

Hahaha, I won then, didn't I? You've looked everywhere in the house and you couldn't find me, could you? So I won.

Little My:

Who wanna find you anyway?

Moomin:

Well, you were trying hard enough, weren't you? What is this? A new game?

Snorkmaiden:

My name is Snorkmaiden. What's yours?

Moomin:

I'm the king of Moominvalley, my pretty one.

Sniff:

You are too ugly to be the king of anything.

Moomin:

Well, now, that's not a very nice thing to say to your friend. Is it, Papa?

Moominpappa:

Well, you'd better tell me what you've done with Moomin.

Moomin:

But I'm here.

Moominpappa:

Where?

Moomin:

Right here.

Moominpappa:

Who are you? And where is Moomin?

Moomin:

Papa…

Moominpappa:

I'm certainly not your papa.

Moomin:

Yes, you are. Come on, I'm Moomin!

Snorkmaiden:

I don't know who you are, but you're not Moomin! He's nice and handsome and nothing like you! Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?

Moomin:

Ah! But where has my nose gone? There's nothing there anymore. Oh, no, my tail's all bushy! Ah…This is terrible! Oh…Who are you? What have you done with me? It must be a nightmare! I want me to come back! Go away, you're horrible!

Moominmamma:

Dear me, what's all this noise? What's happened?

Moomin:

Mama, Mama, Mama!

Moominmamma:

Who on earth is this?

Moominpappa:

He says he's Moomin, but just look at him!

Moominmamma:

You don't look like my Moomin.

Moomin:

I am, I am! Please believe me, Mama! I am Moomin!

Moominmamma:

Well, I don't know. I'm sure.

Moomin:

Something's happened to me. Why do I look so different?

Moominmamma:

Now, then, calm down. This won't help at all. We don't need all this noise. If you really are Moomin, then everything will be all right. Just give me a minute or two, and I'll know.

Moomin:

Mama, call me Moomin, please! I don't know what's happened, but I am me! Honestly, I am. Mama, please believe me. I am Moomin.

Moominmamma:

Moomin:

Oh, Mama, you do know it's me. You must! You can't forget your little Moomin! Please, Mama, please Mama!

Moominmamma:

Oh, hush now, hush now.

Moomin:

Mama…

Moominmamma:

Shhh…

Yes, you're my little Moomin all right.

Moomin:

Oh, Mama…

Snorkmaiden:

Oh, Moomin!

Moomin:

Papa.

Moominpappa:

Oh, Moomin, my boy! Where were you hiding?

Moomin:

In there.

Sniff:

In the hat?

Let's hope it's the last we'll see of it.

Narrator:

Moominpappa decided that although it was a fine hat, it was too dangerous to keep. So Moomin threw it into the river, and it floated away. He wasn't too sure about it though, because it was a rather special hat.

後記

看了好幾次 Part 3 的片段，每次都鼻酸想哭，覺得 Moomin 又調皮又惹人憐愛。

他因為躲進魔法帽而變身成貌似咕嚕的醜陋妖怪，所有的好友，包括自己的爸爸都認不出他來。朋友們嫌棄他，說他醜，爸爸也不承認他這個兒子。當 Moomin 發現自己已經不是原來的自己了，整個大崩潰，嚎啕大哭，看到媽媽進門，立刻衝過去抱住媽媽。大喊 "Mama, Mama, Mama" 然後求媽媽一定要認出他來，他真的是 Moomin，是媽媽的寶貝兒子，一臉又醜陋又可憐兮兮的模樣，鳴~~感覺心都要碎了。(媽媽們應該特別有感觸吧，我想。)
