turn on + something，表示「打開」、「啟動」某物品的電源。

也可以將名詞放在 turn 和 on 的中間。

例如：

turn on the lights　開燈 = turn the lights on

turn on the TV　開電視 = turn the TV on

turn on the radio　開收音機 = turn the radio on

turn on the computer　開電腦 (開機) = turn the computer on

turn on the A/C　開冷氣 = turn the A/C on

turn on the heat　開暖氣 = turn the heat on

註：A/C 可表示 air conditioner (冷氣機) 或 air conditioning (空調)

反：turn off 關閉(電器物品)電源
