show me = "tell me" or "demonstrate it"
show me how = "tell me how to do it"
show 當動詞有「出示、示範、說明」等意思。
所以 show me 依情境可以表示「告訴我」、「示範給我看」或「說明給我聽」等意思。
例如：
Show me your hands. (出示你的雙手；把你的雙手給我看)
Can you show me where the bathroom is? (可以告訴我廁所在哪裡嗎？)
Can you show me how to tie a bow tie? (可以教我怎麼打蝴蝶結嗎？)
