Storyteller: 

Story time, kids. Oh, you're going to like this one. It's all about the time Caillou got covered with paint. It's called "Caillou's Colors".

故事時間到囉，孩子們。你們會喜歡這個的，這是有關卡由有一次全身都沾滿了顏料，故事的名稱是「卡由的顏色」。

Caillou was spending the day at his grandma's loft. He usually found lots of fun things to do there.

卡由今天待在奶奶家的閣樓，他通常都會在那裡發現很多好玩的事物。

But today was different. Caillou was in a bad mood and he didn't feel like doing anything.

但今天不一樣，卡由心情不太好，並且什麼事也不想做。

Caillou felt bored. He didn't know what to do.

卡由覺得無聊，他不知道要做什麼好。

Grandma:

Yoo-hoo! Caillou. Oh-oh! Surprise!

唷呼！卡由。噢喔！驚喜！

Storyteller: 

It seemed as if nothing would cheer Caillou up.

似乎沒有什麼東西可以逗卡由開心。

Grandma:

You must've got out of the wrong side of the bed today, Caillou.

你今天一定是起床的時候下錯邊了，卡由。

Caillou:

What does that mean?

那是什麼意思？

Grandma:

It means that some days you wake up feeling grumpy and don't know why.

意思是有些日子當你起床的時候感覺脾氣暴躁而不曉得為什麼會這樣。

Caillou:

I'm not grumpy!

我沒有脾氣暴躁！

Grandma:

Well, I'm glad to hear that. We're going to have an apple pie for snack time. I have to go and check on it.

嗯…很高興聽到你這麼說。我們來吃蘋果派當點心，我得去看一下好了沒。

Caillou:

I'm not hungry. I don't want apple pie.

我不餓，我不想要蘋果派。

Grandma:

We'll see about that.

到時候再看看吧。

Storyteller:

Caillou was very grumpy. What was he to do?

卡由脾氣非常暴躁，他要做什麼好呢？

Caillou's grandma always let him use her paints. And Caillou always enjoyed painting.

卡由的奶奶總是讓他使用她的顏料，而卡由總是很享受畫畫的樂趣。

Caillou liked his blue picture. And then he decided to use some of grandma's other colors.

卡由喜歡藍色的畫，後來他決定使用一些奶奶的其他顏色。

Caillou:

Oh! ---Wow! ---Yeah!

哦！---哇嗚！---耶！

Grandma:

Caillou, the pie is ready. Caillou, where are you?

卡由，派好了唷。卡由，你在哪？

Caillou:

Here I am!

我在這裡！

Grandma:

Goodness, Caillou, just look at your hands!

天啊，卡由，看看你的雙手！

Caillou: 

Hee-hee-hee. I'm finger-painting.

嘻嘻嘻，我在做手指畫。

Grandma:

And look at your wonderful painting. Oh, but you'll have to wash up if you want some pie. You do want some pie, don't you?

看看你那漂亮的圖畫，哦，但你想吃派的話，得先清洗乾淨才行。你是想吃點派的，對吧？

Caillou:

Yes!

對！

Grandma:

Was it good, dear?

好吃嗎，親愛的？

Caillou:

Yummy!

美味！

Mommy:

Caillou! Hi, sweetie. Did you have a nice day with Grandma? 

卡由！嗨，小寶貝，今天和奶奶在一起過得好嗎？

Caillou:

Mommy, I did finger-painting.

媽咪，我做了手指畫。

Grandma:

Caillou was very grumpy at first, but then he did this lovely painting. And now he isn't grumpy anymore.

卡由一開始脾氣非常暴躁，但後來他畫了這幅可愛的畫，現在他完全不暴躁了。

Caillou:

I don't wanna go home.

我不想回家。

Mommy:

But you can always come back another day.

但你改天隨時都可以回來呀。

Grandma:

That's right! Any time you get out of the wrong side of the bed and you're feeling grumpy. You come and see Grandma.

沒錯！任何時候你起床下錯邊，心情不好，感覺浮躁，就過來看看奶奶。

Caillou:

I wanna be grumpy again.

我想要再次脾氣暴躁了。
